lisa took this picture of anna and i on wednesday afternoon during our playdate. anna is getting so excited for the baby to come. she gives my belly more hugs and kisses than i get!

anna did sparklers for the first time. poor ella was too afraid of the loud fireworks our neighbors were doing.

i'll have to upload a few pictures to a web album later, but here are all of the pictures made into collages using lumapix. i didn't really edit any of them yet, so they need quite a bit of tweaking! eek!

uncle andy got both girls fishing poles for their birthdays so he and papa and daddy took them for their first fishing trip this morning while mimi and i put up decorations. their bait got eaten quite a few times but they didn't manage to reel any in. maybe next time! ;) their patience only lasted for about 20 minutes before they were ready to head to the playground across the street. after fishing we opened presents and had lunch. the girls are having such a great time with their company. but we think they've managed to wear us all out already! hopefully we'll be ready for an early bedtime tonight. :)

bubble blowing.....

yay for picasa!!!!!

i downloaded picasa yesterday and now i can upload soooo many pictures to my blog at a time and not have to resize them before i upload them. yay!!!!! so get ready! lol! i have a lot to post!

these pictures were taken on tuesday --- the girls were cuddling on the couch in the morning. i love relaxing summer mornings! especially when they are getting along so well. of course the next day they didn't have such a good day, but at least i got to capture the moment, however short it lasted. ;)

thoughts and prayers....

everyday, but especially this week these three people and their families have been in my prayers. the strength they have shown through their struggles is so amazing. here is a little bit about them. please check out their blogs, and keep them in your thoughts too.

elizabeth ---
lizzie was diagnosed with a rare liver tumor called hepatblastoma on April 1, 2002. it has since spread to her bones. during the past 4 years she has had 6 surgeries, radiation to her hip, spine and left arm, dozens of chemotherapy protocals and countless scans.

gabby ---
lost her sister to anorexia just a few months ago. her family is raising money for anorexia awareness by selling shirts through cafe press and organizing a memorial run in alex's honor.

becca ---
has diabetes and lost her brother to the disease. she is doing all kinds of things to raise money and awareness for diabetes research.

it worked!

and it didn't hurt as much as i thought it would. phew!!! :D now we're just keeping our fingers crosed that it stays that way!

aversion....

to a version. :P the baby is still breech so i get to go in friday morning to try to get it to flip. i'm doing everything i can to get it to flip on it's own in the mean time. any advice is welcome! i've been laying at a 45 degree angle quite a bit tonight. i've tried shining a flashlight at it. and i've tried putting cold things on it's head so it shrinks away and heads down. lol! that one seemed a little crazy but it made it move the most so far! we'll be playing music for it later. there is a chiropractic technique that sounds interesting, but i don't think i'll have time for an appt. now. i just hope something works!!!

two pages in one day!

i usually don't post my lo's here, but i managed to do 2 in one day. yay! i haven't done that much scrapping in a long time! both pages are digital --- i've been doing that a lot more lately. i was inspired for the first page by kim kesti's color challenge at scrapsupply.com. check out this fun site to find your color according to your birthday --- colorstrology.com. my color is chamois, which happens to be the color of my bedspread! so on my page i snapped a picture of my bedspread and cut out the flowers for the page. here are the rest of the supplies:

i needed a new desktop picture for my computer since the one i had was from valentine's day. eek! so i used some of the pictures i took from yesterday. the girls have been playing together so well this weekend! i figured i had better document that! lol! i used the font sp purkage by kelly purkey downloaded from scrapsupply.com and the 2 peas free pea kit.
